Duty of care

Environmental Business Products Limited, the operator of the Support Your School campaign, is a Registered Waste Carrier, as are the courier operators used. The registration numbers are as follows:

Waste Transfer Note

By law a waste transfer note is required for every collection of waste (inkjets and mobiles) made by us from your address. On signing up to the Support Your School Recycling Scheme, you will be asked to check a box in confirmation that you:

agree I am authorised to act on behalf of my organisation, in regard to the movement of controlled waste, as described under section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990

A waste transfer note will then be e-mailed to you, which you are required by the Environmental Agency to keep on file for 2 years. Your waste transfer note will cover all transactions over the following 12 month period. Environmental Business products will contact you to renew your waste transfer note for the following 12 month period, and all periods after that, which you continue to collect with us.

Mobile Phone Disclaimer

All SIM cards and memory cards should be removed before sending mobile phones to us for recycling. We are unable to return these items and any we receive will be destroyed.Environmental Business Products Ltd do not hold any responsibility for personal data left on mobile phones nor do they hold any responsibility for the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data. It is the sole responsibility of the sender to remove all personal data including personal details before sending any phones to us. If the sender is unsure of how to remove personal details from their phone, free data delete tools can be obtained on the internet.

Due to the constant fluctuation in market conditions and the ever changing cost of collecting cartridges and mobile phones, Each One Counts’ recycling lists are regularly reviewed and are therefore subject to change without prior warning.
